Jan 2015

Swami Satchidananda taught that the aim of Integral Yoga, and the birthright of every individual, is to realise the spiritual unity behind all the diversities in the entire creation and to live harmoniously as members of one universal family. This is achieved by maintaining our natural condition of a body of optimum health and strength, senses under total control, a mind well disciplined, clear and calm, an intellect as sharp as a razor, a will as strong and pliable as steel, a heart full of unconditional love and compassion, an ego as pure as a crystal, and a life filled with supreme peace and joy.

This is attained through asanas, pranayama, chanting, self discipline, selfless action, mantra japa, meditation, study and reflection. The quest for divine light takes a myriad of forms. Some people seek it through faith in the grandeur of nature; through faith in humanity and the nobility of service; through faith in art, education, and social or political ideologies; through faith in science, philosophy and psychology; and through faith in any uplifting path followed with a pure heart. Whenever we seek the higher good in ourselves and in others, the result is the same – greater peace, unity and harmony.

Sincere Thanks

Thank you for your ongoing support of the hatha yoga classes, workshops and events offered throughout 2014. I hope this time has proved to be a rich chapter of self discovery. Invite the summer break to inspire you to reflect on the past twelve months, to feel gratitude for where you are, who you are, and who you’re with, to contemplate what is most important to you, and to confidently envision the upcoming year and the life you plan to manifest.

May you be blessed with peace, joy, love and light during 2015!
